"God Can!" by Jay B. Ayers has enough cliff hanging exploits to keep you on the edge. It has been said that faith represents things not seen but miracles can be visible. There is plenty of evidence of both within these pages. The only miracle witnessed by many might be childbirth, but Jay B Ayers cites numerous events that even a skeptical world would describe as beyond the laws of probability. His landscapes are varied---USA, Canada, Africa, Mexico and Belize. But the stories have a consistency similar to the Word of God from which he often quotes. Regular Bible readers will recall the parable of the Pearl of Great Price. A merchant sells all he has to acquire a rare pearl he considers more valuable than everything. We all have such a pearl within us. For some it's becoming President; for others it might be hitting 300 in the major leagues. For Jay B. Ayers it is seeing the lost get saved, the believer encouraged in the Lord and this is his story.

My name is Jessica Crawford and I was brought up in church as a child. I was young so I didn’t know much but I did hear about Jesus. After time my family slowly left the church and started to live the wrong way but the teaching of Jesus had never left me. I was going through a lot with my family, just like most family we had our problems.
As I grew older I started to live the wrong way. I had experience every form of abuse and from the lack of support from my family I felt alone. It was then I realized I needed God and only Him. I did not have a parent to turn to, my mother is an alcoholic. I don’t know my real father. I could not turn to my sisters and brothers because they were going through their own battles and there was not an aunt, uncle or grandparents that cared. Because of my stepdad there was not a place to call home. I was lost, seeking help and seeking love.
On September 21, 2010 Belize Independence day, everyone was at the parade celebrating. Me and my boyfriend, Sherman was at home accepting Jesus as our Saviour. We got saved! I was ready and willing to let Jesus change my life.
The next morning on the 22nd we went to get our marriage license and on the 24th when everyone was preparing for a hurricane to hit, we were getting married and baptized. We had nothing, no rings, no dress, no money but nothing was going to stop us from doing the right thing. The Lord had already began to work with us. Our wedding day came together perfectly. Within four days we were saved, married and baptized. Since then, by His grace, we have been living for the Lord. We are now members of Freedom Baptist Church and my husband Sherman is in training for the ministry.
I have come realized there is nothing in this world that I need more than the Lord. I Thank God for opening my eyes to see the truth. I Thank God for everything I went through that helped me turned to Him. Now I have a Father that cares, that loves me, and is there forever to help me. Now I have a home and a new family. The church is my home and God and his children are my family. Praise the Lord! One day I will be at home with our heavenly father. I pray that He will be my strength and guide me day by day as I face my battles.
Right now I am suffering with a fistula from March 2010 after giving birth to my baby girl. I have had 2 surgeries in Belize but they both failed. The doctors said they cannot help me anymore and that I need medical treatment abroad.  I found a doctor in Mexico but don’t have the finances for the surgery. It costs $4,000 and the Lord has given us $2,225. I know that the Lord will provide it for me. I pray that He heals me if it is according to his will.
Since being saved the Lord has been good to us. My prayer is that now I can be the turning point in my family. To teach them about our Lord and to give them the love and support which I never had, especially to all the children including my own. I hope to teach them a better way of life. Teach them Gods way.
Now that I am saved I realize many times I could have died and went to Hell but the Lord had a plan. He guided me. He gave me another chance. He saved me. Now I cry not tears of sorrow, but tears of Joy in my heart.

.This is a letter of testimony written by the 'pastor in training' wife, Jessica, in Orange Walk Town, Belize, Central America, where we continue to serve the Lord. I ask that you would be in prayer with us concerning her medical condition. We are praying for the Lord to supply the needed funds for her to go to Mexico for surgical repair. Will you pray that the Lord will send the funds needed? We are believing that He will in His time.
The Lord willing, Sherman and Jessica will be taking over the work of Freedom Baptist Church after the training process and we obtain Land and building. Please be in prayer for them as they serve the Lord in Orange Walk Town, and reach their own people for the Lord. What a blessing to see the Lord raise up this fine young family for His glory after 11 years of prayer and diligent work in this area of the country. Great is Thy Faithfulness, Oh, God my Father!
